Lecturer Position in Optimisation (CP/MIP/SAT/SMT)
We are now seeking to add your expertise to the role of Lecturer - (Data Science & AI) within the Optimisation Group of the Department of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence.
Acting both independently and as part of successful research teams, you will conduct high quality research, including publication in world-leading conferences and journals, supervise research students and prepare research proposals to obtain competitive external research funding. You will also prepare and deliver lectures, seminars, tutorials, practical classes, demonstrations, workshops, and studio sessions, including the setting and marking of assessment material.
As the successful candidate you will hold a doctoral qualification in Computer Science or relevant discipline areas. You will have demonstrated research impact in areas such as constraint programming, mixed integer programming, SAT and SAT modulo theories, combinatorial search, path finding modelling languages or program analysis.
Your high level of interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, as well as your excellent track record of refereed research publications will enable your success in this position.
